Required education: Bachelor's degree, AND:
- 36 months experience working as a Database Developer or working with databases.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 84 months related experience.
Skills:
- Demonstrable experience as a Database Developer
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, C++, or Java, with a preference for more than one program
- Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to craft detailed technical manuals
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
- Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with students, faculty and staff
Working Conditions:
- Physical: Sit for prolonged periods of time. Manual dexterity. Ability to engage in repetitive motion. Communicate effectively and listens.
- Environmental: Standard Office Work Environment.
